Housing Sales Increase in Southeast!
Although housing investment increases day by day, regions where it increases and decreases; It varies according to time, location and living conditions of that region. Especially in big cities, house sales are increasing day by day. Increasing urban mobility and social events with urban transformations are among the primary factors affecting house sales.

Social events, which played an active role in the decrease in housing sales in 2015, especially in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, hindered investments in this direction. This recession in the housing sector started to make investors think. While the constructions, the foundations of which were laid in many provinces, came to a standstill due to uncertainty, sector representatives stated that as long as the process continues in this way, private investments in the Southeastern Anatolia Region face the risk of not being realized. In these regions, where investors left a big gap in housing investment, there was a serious decrease in housing sales.

As of 2015, the gradual decrease of the effects of social events had a positive effect on house sales. The new orientation of real estate investors has been the postponed residences in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Housing sales in the region increased by 11.8 percent compared to 2016, from 57 thousand 745 to 68 thousand 189.

According to the information obtained from the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in the 9-month period of 2017, house sales in Gaziantep reached 21 thousand 942 with an increase of 17.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. In the same period, 14 thousand 552 houses were sold with an increase of 25.7 percent in Diyarbakır, while 13 thousand 892 houses were sold in Şanlıurfa with an increase of 13.3%. Thus,
